The title of Mark Morfopoulos’s newest article, just published in the Summer 2009 edition of the Shopping Center Legal Update, warns: “Be Ambiguous at Your Own Risk: Sloppy Draftsmanship Strikes Again!” In his article, the text of which can be found at:, Mark uses the 2008 Pennsylvania Superior Court decision in Giant Food Stores, LLC v. THF Silver Spring Development, L.P. to illustrate how litigation could have been avoided had the parties clearly written what they had actually agreed-upon. No one should ignore the warnings he gives.

Mark is an attorney in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Meislik & Meislik and has a special focus in the area of Retail Real Estate Law.
